Ahh, Blogs. Blogs are people’s way of getting feelings, ideas, life events, etc into the view of the general public. They can be really funny, or original. However, blogs are not often something I read, mainly due to the fact that people tend to be too annoying to stand. I don’t consider myself a particularly paranoid person, but when a person:
A) either rants for 4 pages on their view of a political figure, or
B) spends 5mb of my RAM loading a picture of the spaghetti they ate for dinner two days ago(which, consequently looks like their two-year-old prepared it), I begin to get frustrated.
I suppose one could say that I’ve blogged before, but it wasn’t habitual. Just simple, basic posts on the weather, re-posts of a chain email received, and so on. This was all done on either MySpace or Facebook, and I was probably around 15. I can’t say that I’d be interested in going back and reading those posts today, but they contain topics which were previously very important to me. And so, cyberspace will forever hold those memories.
Blogging may not always be interesting, and posts may not be perpetually worthy of pride. And yet, for many, blogging holds they key to communication with persons with similar or familial interests, anywhere in the world. I may not enjoy reading about intimate details about one’s eating habits, but I say all in all, blogging = good.
